My Story
My name is Sujan K.C . I am from rural village of Nepal " Panauti-9, Malpi, Kavrepalanchok, Bagmati, Nepal" which is destructed by devastating earthquake 25 April 2015 . I am a student of Arts in tourism and hospitality management. It is almost two year and no one concerned in restoration of our village despite of our delegation to local government, NGOs and IGOs but just get word and nothing else. People are struggling with extreme weather in their weak temporary shelter to made from tents and Zinc plates to survive from Cold winter, windy spring and these shelters are not strong enough to protect them from upcoming hot summer and rainy season with heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. Their health is degrading day by day especially children and old people. We consult with engineers and expert about the cost of total restoration and it is approximately $110,000 as inflation rate is very high in Nepal and We have to build 20 new houses which must be earthquake resistant because Nepal is high risk Zone from threat of earthquake.
